Job Description
The Therapist will have to be licensed in the state of Maryland (preferred), DC or Virginia. LG or LC levels.
For in- person services, location near Fort Washington, MD is most suitable
The Therapist will provide psychotherapy, assessments and/ or evaluations within their scope of practice and license to adults and/ or minors and/ or couples.
Special interest and training with Children and Adolescents or Couples preferred
The Therapist will maintain complete and accurate records of each case in accordance with governing state and federal statutes.
The Therapist will have control over their own scheduling and client load based on part- time, full- time or contract option.
Training and/ or experience in trauma- informed care, anxiety, PTSD and/ or providing T-CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR therapy is A MUST.
Therapist must demonstrate strong skills and experience in working with clients who have a trauma and/ or anxiety background.
Experience working with children through telehealth is a plus.

This position is hybrid; candidate should reside in Maryland, Washington DC or Northern Virginia in proximity to Fort Washington, MD; clients MUST be physically located in the state the therapist is licensed in for telehealth. *If you are only interested in remote options please reach out anyway.
Important skillset: ability to clearly communicate and utilize day-to- day technology with ease, knowledge of GMAIL Workforce, using Shared Drives, following directions via Online Instructions or Videos independently, Electronic Health Records (EHRs) Theranest, e-mail and phone in order to carry out the duties of this position successfully.
Ideal candidate will have obtained their independent license to practice, is self- motivated with a go- getter and proactive attitude, doesn't mind remote independent work with occasional (2-4 times p/ year team lunches for morale and spirit). Our ideal client will provide ethical and professional therapy to our clients and have a strong professional and personal value system of respect, honesty and integrity. It is a Bonus if you have experience with first responders, military families or the international community.
Invisible Wounds Therapy and Wellness provides therapeutic services for those struggling with Anxiety and/ or past Trauma (including PTSD, childhood or complex trauma). We provide services for everyone and specialize in working with First Responders, Helpers and Healers or "Anxious Professionals." We also provide therapy services for those with an immigration, ex- pat or international background. We pride ourselves in providing evidenced- based approaches such as Eye- Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectic- Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance- Commitment Therapy.(ACT).

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour *Depends on licensing level, career history and training
Expected hours: 18 – 28 per week *Depends on full or part- time options as well as W2 and 1099 options
